Shailaun is a model, actress, singer-songwriter and producer based in Dallas, Texas. Raised in Arlington, she studied and fell in love with music at an early age. Learning different instruments (viola, alto saxophone, voice and percussion) she developed a music versatility that eventually led her into writing, performing and producing music.

Since returning to Dallas after three years of living in New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles and Madrid, Shailaun has collaborated with grammy award winning producers such as Rickey (Slikk Muzik) Offord and Maduwku Chinwah. She has also been seen in a number of commercials, magazines, film and music videos including Michael Buble’s “A Beautiful Day” (2013), Empire of the Sun’s “Alive” (2013), Better Homes and Gardens Magazine (2020) and Fossil (2019).

For as long as she can remember, Shailaun has been an artist and has always been connected to all things music. Her distinct and unique style derives from many musical influences and genres from her roots in Gospel and RnB to her now Eclectic Soul platform. Her music speaks across cultures and generations with smooth, sultry sounds in alto reminiscent of Sade fused with the lyrical stylings of India.Arie.

Shailaun released her first solo album “Spread Love” on February 11, 2022. Focusing on love and healing, this examination of eclectic soul music showcases her abilities as a vocalist as well as a producer. The full work was preceded by the singles “Our First Kiss,” “Find a Way,” “Peace,” and “Now.” On May 8, 2022, “Peace” and ‘Spread Love” were added to iTunes Netherlands R&B/Soul charts and ranked #4 and #5. Shailaun released “Glowing” on February 17, 2023; the first single from her upcoming album “Me Time.”
