The 11th Annual Charity
Poetry Art & Jazz Event. 

This Poetry Art and Jazz Event not only inspires but also builds up communities by providing a way to feed & provide free makeovers and health screenings for the homeless while bringing amazing artistic uplifting experiences such as poetry, jazz, art and more. We will have a mixer from 7-8pm with vendors, food, body painting, crowd interactive painting, live music performances, spoken word and more. 8pm -10pm is the time for the actual show inside the art gallery. No children are allowed this year. Only High Schoolers. The money raised from this event allows my nonprofit organization which is called u-won-te' savior to rent a school bus and pick up over 100 homeless people off the Dallas streets. We then will provided breakfast, lunch, facials, haircuts, makeup, makeovers, clothes, tents, personal hygiene kits, Bibles, prayer, health screenings and more. The makeovers for the homeless event will take place on 10/17 at Antioch Christian Church in Irving from 7am-1pm. Volunteers are welcomed and so are donations.
