Shailaun is a model, actress, singer-songwriter and producer based in Arlington, Texas. For as long as she can remember, she has been an artist and has always been connected to all things music. Her distinct and unique style derives from many musical influences and genres from her roots in Gospel, R&B, and Soul, to her now Eclectic Soul platform. Her soul stirring music speaks across cultures and generations with smooth, sultry sounds in alto reminiscent of Sade and Toni Braxton fused with the lyrical stylings of India Arie and Brandy. Shailaun creates tunes with an internal desire to heal, encourage and uplift herself and the world.
In 2019, Shailaun produced her debut solo album, Spread Love, bringing together a team of award winning producers and musicians including Rickey "Slikk Muzik" Offord (Tori Kelly, Ariana Grande, Jamie Foxx, etc.) Madukwu Chinwah (Erykah Badu, Kirk Franklin, Ndambi, etc.) and Christopher Billik (Element Sound - Richardson, Texas). Spread Love was released exclusively to fans on May 1, 2021 and to the global public on February 11, 2022. The project is full of unconditional love notes to herself and others for healing and inspiration.
